Absolutely amazing. Our cabins back porch looked out over the lake, shaded by a huge tree, quiet but lively. The owners treat you like family, as do the permanent residence. It's all smiles and waves. My family has never felt so welcomed on a vacation. We will definitely be back!
Well-appointed rustic cabins. We booked most of the cabins for a family reunion/gathering, to view the Eclipse. The weather was perfect and we enjoyed eating out on the patios, It's a bit of a walk down to the lake now, with the low lake level, but we were able to launch our boat and use our paddle boards. The management was quite accommodating to all of our needs, with ample parking for trailers, boats and cars. The air conditioning worked well and the kitchen was well-appointed. There were some bugs (it is Texas!) so some bug spray would have been a welcome addition.
A great place to stay for one night or more. The cabins are right on the waterfront & the view is beautiful especially at night. Cabins are very clean & come with anything you would need if you will be staying for a vacation. There is a swimming pool or you can swim or fish in the lake. There is plenty of clean linens & a kitchen full of cooking & eating utensils. The owners are very nice & are right there when you need them. I have stayed at Edgewater several times & will definitely be going back.
The staff is very friendly and helpful. The cabins are somewhat rustic but they include everything we needed and are a good value. Really nice location.
My husband brought me here on our first wedding anniversary 41 years ago, and we continue to return. We have seen many upgrades since then, but the view never changes, beautiful. We always say, this is our home away from home. Thank you Angie and staff for accommodating.
Wonderful people who own the place and live there. Our cabin was very nice. Doesn't seem like a 'resort". Not much to do but that was probably just the time of the year that we went. You will love Angie - and it was southern hospitality at its very best
